Job summary

Hightown Housing Association is seeking a compassionate care worker for Trinity Court 4, a residential home in Aylesbury, supporting adults with learning disabilities to live more independently.

You will provide person-centred support, help with daily living skills, and contribute to risk assessments while building trusted relationships with residents and working with a team to maintain high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is required.
• Care certificate or willingness to undertake a care qualification.
• A full UK Driving Licence and access to a car is essential.

Role

Join our collaborative team at Trinity Court 4, a residential care home supporting six adults with learning disabilities. We work together to create an inclusive environment where residents feel empowered to live more independently and confidently. The Role

• Provide person-centred support and personal care with dignity and compassion
• Encourage daily living skills including budgeting, shopping, cooking and cleaning
• Draft personalised support plans and contribute to risk assessments
• Build trusting relationships that support residents to achieve their goals
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality care

Shift Pattern

• Rotating shifts of 07:00-15:00 and 14:00-22:00
• 5 days out of 7 on a 4-week rolling rota
• Includes weekend working (Saturdays and Sundays)

You are caring, reliable and able to communicate clearly with people with diverse needs. You value inclusion, work well both independently and in collaboration with others, and bring a respectful, person-centred approach to your work.

Experience in a similar role is required, and you must hold a care certificate or be willing to undertake a care qualification. A full UK Driving Licence and access to a car is essential.
