Job summary

Voyage Care in Darlington is seeking a Female Senior Support Worker to help residents gain independence and support the service management. The role involves supervising staff, allocating shifts, and assisting with training to maintain a high standard of care.

Qualifications

Female* Senior Support Worker – Darlington- £13.72 per hour

Typical Shifts are: Monday to Sunday, 7:30am-3:00pm, 2:30pm-10:00pm & 9:30pm-7:30am.

We’re currently searching for a fantastic Senior Support Worker to join us in leading our residential service Darlington. This service is a welcoming and friendly environment with a dynamic team that supports a fantastic group of people!

As a Senior Support Worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst assisting the Manager with the day-to-day supervision and management of the service. You could be allocating shifts, booking in training, inducting new colleagues, supporting with supervision’s, ordering medication and ensuring the people we support are supported to manage their finances. You’ll never lose sight of why you choose to do this, as our Seniors are still at the heart of providing day-to-day support.

We’re interested in our Senior Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Seniors should have previous experience as a Senior Support Worker and a Level 3 in Health & Social Care as well as experience working with individuals with learning disabilities, brain injuries and complex needs.
