Female PE Teacher – Birmingham – June 2025 Start

We’re working with an improving secondary school in Birmingham that is seeking a confident and committed Female PE Teacher to join their established department from June 2025. With a strong focus on raising standards and increasing student participation in physical activity, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact at a school on an upward trajectory.

  • Position: PE Teacher (Girls' PE)
  • Start Date: June 2025
  • Location: Birmingham
  • Contract: Full-time, Long-term supply
  • Pay: £175 - £250 per day (dependent on experience)
  • Department: Well-resourced and supportive PE team

The Role
You’ll be delivering high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a focus on girls' physical education. The department is known for its inclusive and energetic approach, and you’ll have access to excellent facilities and supportive colleagues. There’s a strong emphasis on extra-curricular sport, so a willingness to get involved in clubs and teams is a big plus.

The Candidate
We’re looking for a qualified PE teacher (QTS or equivalent) with recent experience teaching girls’ PE in a UK secondary school. You should be passionate about physical education, able to inspire students of all abilities, and confident managing a full teaching timetable. Strong classroom presence and a proactive attitude are essential, particularly as the school continues to embed new strategies for improvement.
