An established secondary school in Birmingham is looking to appoint a dynamic and committed Female PE Teacher to join their team from September 2025 . This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a well-organised department in a school rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, with a strong culture of teamwork and support.

  • Rate: £175–£250 per day (dependent on experience)
  • Contract Type: Full-time
  • Ofsted: Rated ‘Good’
  • Department: Long-standing and well-resourced PE department

  • The Role:
    You’ll be delivering the girls’ PE curriculum across KS3 and KS4, promoting participation, fitness, and wellbeing through a broad range of indoor and outdoor sports. The school values physical education highly and offers excellent facilities, including a sports hall, gym, and outdoor pitches. The department runs regular extracurricular clubs and fixtures, and you’ll play an active part in the wider school community.

    The Candidate:
    You should be a qualified PE teacher with QTS, confident delivering practical and theoretical lessons. Experience teaching girls’ PE in a secondary setting is essential, along with strong classroom management and a passion for promoting sport and healthy lifestyles. ECTs with relevant placement experience are welcome to apply.
