Job summary

Nycil is seeking a Female Child Support Assistant in Harrogate to support a 10-year-old girl with Autism/ADHD. The role is 6 hours per week during school holidays, split into two 3-hour sessions. A car and clean driving licence are advantageous, with mileage paid when the child is in the car.

An Enhanced DBS is required and the post is open to a female candidate only under Equality Act 2010. Experience with children and flexibility in days/times are essential. Salary is £13.79 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children who have Autism/ADHD.
• DBS check and safeguarding awareness preferred.
• Female candidate only due to role requirements.

Responsibilities

• Accompany a 10-year-old girl on walks to parks and playgroups.
• Support and supervise during outings and activities.
• Assist with transport if a car is available (mileage paid).
