Job summary

South West Surrey Domestic Abuse Service (SWSDAS) is seeking Female* Outreach Workers to support survivors across Waverley and Guildford Boroughs. The role offers permanent employment with flexible hours up to 35 per week and requires a full driving licence and vehicle access for travel to client sites.

You will provide advice, advocacy and safeguarding support, working with police, social care and local authorities, and you will engage in face-to-face support, demanding empathy and strong

Qualifications

• Experience helping those affected by abuse or trauma.
• Empathy, compassion and strong listening skills.
• Organised, adaptable, resilient with a calm professional approach.
• DBS check required prior to appointment.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide advice, advocacy and safeguarding support to survivors.
• Work with Police, Social Care and Local Authorities.
• Deliver face-to-face support to clients.
• Travel across Surrey, including rural areas, to meet clients.
