Job summary

South West Surrey Domestic Abuse Service (SWSDAS) is seeking Female* Outreach Workers to support survivors across Waverley and Guildford Boroughs. The role offers permanent employment with flexible hours up to 35 per week and requires a full driving licence and vehicle access for travel to client sites.

You will provide advice, advocacy and safeguarding support, working with police, social care and local authorities, and you will engage in face-to-face support, demanding empathy and strong

Female Outreach Worker*

Location: Waverley and Guildford Boroughs.

Salary : £25,039 - £29,458 per annum pro rata + 5% benefits package and workplace pension

Vacancy Type: Permanent, Full Toe or Part time considered (Full Time is 35 hours per week)

Due to increasing demand for our services, South West Surrey Domestic Abuse Service (SWSDAS) is seeking a number of passionate and committed Female* Outreach Workers to support survivors of domestic abuse across Waverley and Guildford Boroughs.

This is a rewarding opportunity to make a lasting difference to lives affected by domestic abuse. You will have experience of helping those who have been affected by abuse or other trauma or vulnerabilities and will use your empathy, compassion and strong listening skills to provide both practical and emotional support.

As an Outreach Worker you will provide advice, advocacy and safeguarding support, working closely with a range of partner agencies including the Police, Social Care and Local Authorities.

SWSDAS is Women's Aid National Quality Standard Accredited and is a proud member of the Surrey Domestic Abuse Partnership, delivering high quality support, advocacy and advice across the county.

We are looking for individuals who are organised, adaptable and resilient, with a calm, professional and reassuring approach. Working up to 35 hours a week, you will be part of a dedicated team of more than 20 staff based on the outskirts of Guildford. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential, as the role involves travel across Surrey, including rural areas. The position includes face to face support with clients.
