Voyage Care is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to join our Holt service in Wiltshire. You will help residents gain independence, assist with daily living tasks and support community involvement, all within a caring, team-based environment.

Applicants should have a full UK driving licence, be resilient and flexible, and have experience with Positive Behaviour Support and working with individuals needing enhanced support, including those with mental health needs or autism.

Qualifications

• Must hold a full UK driving licence and be able to travel to the location.
• Experience with Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
• Experience working with individuals needing enhanced support, including distress, autism or trauma.
• Able to stay calm, flexible and person-centred in challenging situations.

Support Worker - Holt, Wiltshire - Pay rate starts at: £12.84 - £14.84 (Ts & Cs apply)

Typical Shifts are a mixture of: 07:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 21:00 Monday to Sunday working 35 hours a week

As a Support Worker with us you'll be helping people to gain more independence in their daily lives, whilst working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people!

This specially adapted bungalow boasts private garden access from all of their 9 bedrooms. This residential service has a welcoming and friendly environment and you can be sure that no two days will be the same! You’ll be enhancing the lives of the people we support by teaching them new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging them to access their local communities, socialising and doing lots of activities. One day you could be out with the people we support in local bars and pubs, the next you could be unwinding with them playing video games, watching films or going to the cinema.

This is an amazing role for someone who is looking to really make a difference to someone's life and to help them grow in confidence and independence so that they meet their goals, whether this be making dinner by themselves or going on holiday.

We’re interested in our Support Workers having both the right experience and the right values. This is why at this service our Support Workers should hold a full UK driving license, be resilient, flexible and composed in their approach, have experience with following Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice as well as experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support, including behaviour's of distress, mental health conditions, autism and people who have experienced trauma.
