Job summary

Case Management Cymru Ltd in Bridgend is seeking a warm, patient Female Support Worker to provide hands-on daily living support for a client with Cerebral Palsy. You will join a stable care team and focus on consistent, person-centred care to promote independence and community access.

The role includes day shifts, sleep-ins and occasional nights, plus hydrotherapy sessions. A full UK driving licence and willingness to drive the adapted vehicle are essential. Enhanced DBS check is required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence and willingness to drive the client’s adapted vehicle.
• Flexibility to work days, sleep-ins, waking nights, weekends and bank holidays.
• Confident in water and able to support hydrotherapy sessions.
• Patient, reliable and able to provide person-centred support.
• Comfortable with personal care and complex physical needs.
• Able to build professional relationships with client and family.
• Work collaboratively with the care team and health professionals.
• Good communication and record-keeping skills.
• Willingness to register with Social Care Wales if not registered.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on daily living support to the client.
• Assist with personal care, mobility and daily activities.
• Support hydrotherapy sessions safely and effectively.
• Maintain accurate care records and communicate with the team.
• Collaborate with the client’s family and multidisciplinary professionals.
