Job summary

Cera is seeking a community carer in Dundee to support clients to live independently at home. You may have experience as a care assistant or be new to the sector; driving is required to visit clients across Dundee and surrounding areas.

You will assist with personal care, medication, and meals, using Cera Tech to minimize admin tasks. Expect flexible shifts (mornings, days, evenings, nights) with every other weekend off, plus guaranteed hours.

Qualifications

Driving licence required to travel between visits.
SSSC registration in Scotland is required and SVQ2 is funded by the employer.

Responsibilities

The Role:

Supporting clients in Dundee City, Broughty Ferry, Lochee, Blackness, Kirkton, St Marys, Pitkerro, Douglasand surrounding areas, this is a community-based role, where you will assist with personal care, medication, and meals, visiting people in their own homes and travelling between client visits. For this role, you require a driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Registration:

In Scotland, all care staff register with the SSSC. You must maintain registration and work towards your SVQ2 (funded by Cera; SVQ registration fee payable by employee).
