Job summary

Affinity Trust in Leicester is looking for a compassionate Support Worker to help nine residents live independently in their flats on three floors (no lift). The role is based in Leicester with an hourly rate of £12.75 and full training provided. DBS check will be completed and paid for by us.

Who will I support?

You will support 9 people living in their own flats in Leicester, across three floors (Please note, there is no lift). The people we support are independent and have their own unique interests, like gaming, anime, WWE wrestling, gardening, and Disney.

They enjoy activities at home and going out for shopping or appointments. During your shift, you will help different people, encourage their independence, and build good relationships. We are looking for friendly, confident, and bubbly staff with a good sense of humour who can help make each day enjoyable.

How will I make a difference?

As a support worker you’ll be there to lend a helping hand in a way that puts the person’s needs first, this means:
