Job summary

Southwood School, part of The Boulevard Primary Partnership federation in Milton Keynes, is seeking a Site Manager to oversee maintenance and security across three sites. The role includes health and safety checks, supervising cleaners and contractors, and routine maintenance to keep facilities safe and welcoming.

The position is 37 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 7.00 to 11.00pm and 3.00 to 6.30pm (6pm on Fridays), all year round.

• Health and safety checks (weekly and monthly).
• Supervision of cleaning team and other contractors.

Job description

The Boulevard Primary Partnership is a federation ofthree schools located in Downs Barn and Conniburrow, Milton Keynes – Southwood,Downs Barn and Germander Park Schools.The three schools share one governing board and one Executive Head. Theschools include 2 nurseries and 2 Specialist Bases for children with Autism.

We are lookingto appoint a Site Manager to join us as a valued member of our school communitywithin the federation. The role is incredibly varied and includes a wide rangeof duties and responsibilities. Theseinclude, but are not limited to, themaintenance and security of the school premises and site, health and safetychecks (including weekly and monthly checks), some cleaning/porterage, supervisionof the cleaning team and other contractors and routine maintenance. The rolewill involve working at all 3 school sites.

The role is for37 hours per week, Monday – Friday 7.00 to 11.00pm and 3.00 to 6.30pm (6pm onFridays). The position is all year round (52 weeks per year). The rightcandidate should be be reliable, flexible, enthusiastic, highly motivated andhave the ability to use their initiative when working alone and also to behappy working as part of a team.
