Kelvion in Fareham is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to develop heat exchanger solutions from concept to production. You will create manufacturable 3D designs and 2D drawings using Autodesk Inventor and PDM, supporting both new and existing products with robust documentation.

The role focuses on CAD-to-FEA workflows to improve performance and manufacturability, defining topology, thickness and interfaces.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Strong Inventor and 3D modelling skills.
• Experience with CAD-to-FEA workflows.
• Experience in sheet-metal design and BOM structures.
• English communication skills; ability to travel as needed.

Responsabilités

• Develop heat exchanger designs from concept to production.
• Create 3D models and 2D drawings with Inventor and PDM.
• Improve performance, reliability and manufacturability.
• Prepare FEA-ready models and define representations.
• Collaborate with analysts and document design decisions.
• Support prototypes, manufacturing, and global product transfers.
• Manage workstreams, priorities, risks, budgets, and deadlines.
• Contribute to standardization and CAD-to-FEA workflows.
