Kingdom Services Group Ltd in Fareham is seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer to own aerospace product design from customer concept through manufacture and installation. You will lead design activity and provide specialist FEA/CFD support across the full product lifecycle, acting as a focal point for technical excellence.

You will deputise for the Engineering Manager and drive design reviews with Production and Quality teams, ensuring compliance with engineering standards and customer

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering required or equivalent.
• Significant aerospace mechanical engineering experience.
• Experience with FEA/CFD analysis.
• Proven ability to interpret customer specifications and deliver designs meeting performance specs.
• Experience with precision-machined aerospace components.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsabilités

• Take technical ownership of aerospace product design from concept through to installation.
• Perform and direct FEA/CFD analysis to verify product integrity.
• Lead design reviews and act as an aerospace approvals signatory where applicable.
• Provide technical support to Production, Quality and Sales teams.
• Collaborate with customers to resolve engineering challenges.
• Monitor project costs and budgets.
