Job summary
TeacherActive are recruiting for experienced Construction Lecturers and Tutors to work within a Further Education college setting in Birmingham.
The roles involve delivering both practical workshops and theory sessions across Brickwork, Plastering, Carpentry & Joinery, and Electrical Installation, requiring strong industry experience and a recognised teaching qualification.

Qualifications
- Recognised teaching qualification such as PGCE, CertEd, Award in Education and Training or Diploma in Education and Training.
- Strong industry experience in construction trades.
- Relevant trade or vocational qualifications.
- Previous teaching, training or lecturing experience.
- Confident delivering both practical workshops and theory in FE.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Passionate about passing industry knowledge to learners.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lessons and practical workshops.
- Demonstrate industry techniques to learners.
- Support learners through their qualifications.
- Help students develop skills to progress into employment.
