TeacherActive is recruiting experienced Construction Lecturers and Tutors to work within a Further Education college in Birmingham. The roles cover Brickwork, Plastering, Carpentry & Joinery, and Electrical Installation, delivering practical and theory sessions to help learners gain skills and employment prospects.

The ideal candidate will hold a recognised teaching qualification and have strong industry experience, plus the ability to deliver both practical workshops and classroom-based

Qualifications

• Recognised teaching qualification required (PGCE, CertEd or equivalent).
• Strong industry experience in construction.
• Experience delivering both practical workshops and theory lessons.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons and practical workshops in construction trades.
• Support learners through their qualifications and develop employable skills.
• Help students progress into employment through industry-aligned teaching.
