Job Description:

Our client is a dynamic and forward-thinking investment firm specialising in sports-related acquisitions and investments. They focus on maximising opportunities within the sports industry and are currently involved in several live deals across different sports and geographies.

As an Investment Analyst, you will support the M&A/Investment team in sell-side and buy-side mandates. This is a short-term contract position focused on one acquisition within the sports industry, with opportunities to engage in other transactions.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the M&A/Investment team on materials preparation, analysis, and transaction execution for a specific acquisition.
• Build and update financial models to assess the financial viability and potential returns of investments.
• Prepare presentations for internal and external stakeholders, highlighting the investment opportunity and its strategic value.
• Interact with clients, investors, and stakeholders throughout the deal process, ensuring clear communication.
• Contribute to due diligence and assist in drafting transaction documents to facilitate successful deal completion.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in Investment Banking, focusing on M&A, or experience in Private Equity/Growth Equity.
• Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with experience in building, updating, and presenting financial models.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas clearly and concisely.
• Strong organisational and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of engaging with clients, investors, and advisers.
• Analytical approach with keen attention to detail.

• Day rate: Up to £250 PAYE or £300 LTD depending on experience
