Job summary

Ambitek Limited is seeking time-served FCAW welders for long-term, ongoing work at a Birkenhead site in the North West. Tradespeople must demonstrate FCAW/Flux Core welding skills, with vertical and overhead welding experience and a trade test.

Pay rates include Basic £21.51 per hour, with overtime options. Digs payment is offered for workers traveling from over 40 miles, and work is PAYE only for the tenure. Shipyard experience is preferred.

FCAW FLUX CORE WELDERS REQUIRED - NORTH WEST

Our client, a large established company based in Birkenhead, is currently looking for Time-Served FCAW (Flux Core) Welders for long-term, ongoing work.

***Digs payment available for workers travelling from over 40 miles from site***

Trade Test Required

• FCAW welding using flux core wire
• Vertical and overhead butt welds
• Welding using a ceramic backing strip

Requirements

• Time-served Welder
• Proven experience with FCAW / Flux Core welding
• Experience with vertical and overhead welding
• Shipyard experience preferred
• Relevant experience and qualifications required
• Must be able to successfully complete the required trade test

Pay Rates

• Basic: £21.51 per hour
• Overtime 1: £32.27 per hour (1.5x)
• Overtime 2: £43.02 per hour (2x)
