Job summary

John Lewis plc is seeking a data-focused Compliance Assurance Analyst to join the 2LoD Compliance Monitoring team. You will leverage MI, data analytics and dashboards to oversee regulatory compliance, conduct risk and operational controls, with a primary focus on FCA Consumer Duty.

The role offers hybrid working in London, a 6-month fixed-term contract or internal secondment, and a salary up to £50,000, with night premium on certain hours.

Qualifications

• Strong MI/Data Analytics experience in regulated financial services.
• Experience designing and developing BI dashboards (Tableau, Power BI).
• Ability to interpret complex data and communicate insights clearly.
• Curious, data-driven mindset with continuous improvement focus.

Responsibilities

• Data-led monitoring using complex datasets to identify trends and risks.
• Develop and maintain automated dashboards to track compliance metrics and KRIs.
• Support management reporting and translate findings for governance committees.
• Ensure data governance and quality across assurance reporting and data sources.
• Drive continuous improvements to 2LoD oversight processes and techniques.
• Participate in training to grow analytical capabilities and knowledge.
