John Lewis Partnership is seeking an experienced Internal Audit professional to lead delivery of audits, coach Senior Internal Auditors, and present findings to leadership. The role supports strategic objectives with a hybrid London-based schedule and a 12-month fixed-term contract.

The successful candidate will drive assurance across risk, control, and governance, leveraging data analytics and AI to enhance audit coverage and impact, while collaborating across the Partnership.

Qualificações

• Practical experience managing internal audit engagements.
• Ability to interpret multiple information sources to form a point of view.
• Experience building and managing stakeholder relationships while challenging and influencing them.
• Hold relevant qualifications aligned to a specialism (accountancy, COBIT, IT governance or audit).
• Experience applying data analytics and AI concepts to audits is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Lead on delivery of internal audits with high-quality reports and outputs.
• Provide day-to-day assignment management and coaching to Senior Internal Auditors.
• Demonstrate independence of mind and professional scepticism in conclusions.
• Engage with stakeholders to understand priorities and advise on internal controls.
• Collaborate with Risk Management and Compliance teams to align assurance activities.
• Advance use of AI, data analytics and automated testing to increase audit coverage.
