Job summary

Leader Online is seeking reliable Warehouse Operatives to join our Middlesbrough-based warehouse team. You will support picking, replenishment, stock movement, consolidation and dispatch across doors, flooring and furniture products.

This hands-on role requires accuracy, good attention to detail and adherence to Health & Safety and 5S standards. You’ll work at pace in a fast-moving environment with opportunities for progression to permanent roles based on performance.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, distribution or similar operational experience.
• Experience in picking, replenishment, stock movement or dispatch.
• Comfortable working within a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
• Good attention to detail and a strong focus on product quality.
• Good understanding of warehouse Health & Safety and safe working practices.

Responsibilities

• Pick and prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Replenish locations and move, locate and organise stock.
• Consolidate orders and prepare goods for dispatch.
• Load, unload and move products safely where required.
• Check stock for correct SKU, quantity, condition and quality.
• Handle large and bulky products, including regular manual handling and lifting items up to 25kg.
• Use appropriate mechanical aids or team handling where required.
• Operate MHE where appropriately trained, assessed and authorised.
• Identify and report stock discrepancies, product damage, hazards, near misses and equipment defects.
• Maintain high 5S and housekeeping standards throughout the shift.
• Work flexibly across warehouse functions according to operational requirements.
• Contribute to improvements in safety, quality and operational efficiency.
