Qualifications

• Experience producing and editing in a fast-paced newsroom or digital publisher.
• Ability to shoot high-quality video with DSLR cameras (Sony A7 preferred).
• Strong editorial judgment and understanding of audience engagement and digital storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Produce, edit and publish short-form video for Daily Mail's global audience.
• Turn raw footage from reporting, wires, UGC and archive into sharp narratives.
• Develop structured, in-depth edits around major news events.
• Add graphics, captions, subtitles and branding to elevate storytelling.
• Shoot video to a professional standard using Sony A7 cameras.
• Reformat 16x9 into 9x16 for web and mobile audiences.
• Pitch and package video ideas around breaking news, politics, royals, showbiz and features.
• Work closely with reporters, producers and editors across the newsroom.
• Ensure all content meets legal, copyright and compliance standards.
