Job summary

Retail Human Resources plc in London is seeking a merchandising admin assistant to join a fashion retailer. You will support merchandising administration, assist with stock allocation, and liaise with buyers, QC and contracts management to identify product status.

The role also involves tracking stock movement, sales and margins, with PO creation support. The position is a temporary assignment offering a competitive weekly pay, paid holiday, and exposure to a creative, fast-paced head office

Qualifications

• Placement or work experience in merchandising or allocation.
• Excellent organisational, multi-tasking and prioritisation abilities.
• Strong numerical, analytical and interpretive skills.
• GCSE Maths grade C or above.
• Recent head office retail experience.
• Strong IT skills and Excel proficiency including VLOOKUP and PivotTables.

Responsibilities

• Assist merchandising with administration.
• Support with stock allocation.
• Liaise with buyers, quality department and contracts manager to identify product status.
• Liaise with QC teams to chase gold seals.
• Monitor stock progression to meet delivery dates.
• Track sales, stock movements and best sellers.
• Analyse and report on stock, markdown, sales, intake and margin for the team.
• Create purchase orders and support PO management.
