Job summary

Victoria College of Arts and Design seeks a Lecturer to deliver high-quality, research-informed modules and assess undergraduate and postgraduate courses. You will mentor students, design curricula, and engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching quality.

The role emphasizes inclusive, student-centered learning, collaboration with faculty, and contributions to academic integrity and quality assurance within the department.

Qualifications

• Confidence and ability to communicate complex information to a class of students.
• Ability to utilise a range of digital platforms, in particular Microsoft Office / 365.
• Enthusiasm, knowledge and experience of your specialist area.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and deliver lectures, seminars, tutorials, and workshops for modules.
• Design, manage and assess coursework and provide timely feedback to students.
• Support students with advisory and mentoring guidance, addressing individual needs.
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement of teaching resources.
• Participate in quality assurance, teaching observations and professional development.
