Job summary

Victoria College of Arts and Design (VCAD) seeks a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader for the Business and Management for Creatives programme. You will drive teaching quality, lead the programme team and ensure alignment with partner requirements, while shaping a vibrant student experience across modules.

You will promote academic excellence, mentor staff, and implement curriculum enhancements in line with industry practice within the English Higher Education sector.

Qualifications

• Experience of teaching.
• Knowledge of the Higher Education sector in England.
• Experience of designing and developing teaching content.
• Confidence and ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively to a class of students.
• Ability to utilise a range of digital platforms, particularly Microsoft Office/Microsoft 365.
• Recognised teaching qualification.
• Relevant professional experience in an associated or appropriate area of practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic leadership and operational oversight for the Business and Management for Creatives programme.
• Lead and coordinate the programme team and support professional development.
• Oversee module delivery, ensuring high standards in teaching, assessment and feedback.
• Monitor student achievement, progression and satisfaction with enhancement plans.
• Lead programme reviews, annual monitoring and quality assurance activities.
• Chair programme team meetings and represent the programme on committees and reviews.
