Victoria College of Arts and Design in Manchester seeks a Lecturer to deliver high-quality, research-informed teaching and to design, deliver and assess undergraduate and/or postgraduate modules. The role emphasizes contextual studies, fashion narratives, market and cultural change, with a focus on student mentoring and academic support.

The successful candidate will engage in curriculum development, quality assurance, and professional development, while contributing to departmental initiatives

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to communicate complex information to a class.
• Experience delivering undergraduate and/or postgraduate modules.
• Knowledge of higher education teaching standards in England.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and deliver lectures, seminars, tutorials and workshops.
• Design and assess coursework, including essays and presentations.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to students.
• Advise and mentor students, supporting their academic and professional growth.
• Collaborate to develop curricula reflecting industry and academic trends.
• Engage in quality assurance and continuous improvement processes.
• Perform administrative duties related to timetable, module coordination and assessment.
• Contribute to departmental goals and outreach activities.
