The Recruitment Group is seeking a skilled CNC Miller / Setter-Operator to join our team in Northampton. You will set and operate Fanuc-controlled CNC milling machines, with programming experience a bonus.

Full training will be provided for the right person, with opportunities to develop CNC programming skills and progress within the business. The role offers a competitive salary (£35,000 – £45,000) and a stable, quality-focused team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience setting and operating Fanuc-controlled CNC milling machines.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Programming experience is a bonus but not essential.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality work.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating Fanuc-controlled CNC milling machines.
• Producing components to required specifications and quality standards.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specs.
• Selecting tooling and setting up machines for production.
• Carrying out quality checks and ensuring tolerances are met.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Editing and developing CNC programs where required, with training.
• Working as part of a team to meet production deadlines and standards.
