Job summary

Family Action in Hertfordshire is seeking staff to provide supervised family time for families referred by social workers, creating a safe, welcoming environment where trusted relationships can develop.

You will work closely with the Team Manager and Hertfordshire Children's Services to support children, young people and families through change or crisis with practical help, guidance and advocacy.

This role emphasises safeguarding, professional development and flexible working arrangements.

You will be working closely with the Team Manager and Hertfordshire Children's Services to provide a safe, happy and positive experience for families, children and young people who have been referred to the service. You will provide Supervised Family Time for those referred to the service by their Social Workers and will provide a safe and welcoming environment where families are able to build trusting relationships and where appropriate receive support, advice and guidance.

• Appointments are subject to Family Action receiving a satisfactory disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service - ENHANCED WITH CHILD BARRED LIST an annual paid leave entitlement that commences at 25 working days, rising each April by one day, subject to a maximum of 30 working days plus bank holidays (pro-rata for part-time)
