Job summary

The Recruitment Co in Londonderry, County Londonderry, is recruiting for a Band 4 Family Support Worker / Social Work Assistant to join a busy Family & Childcare team. This full-time post offers a Monday to Friday pattern and no on-call duties, with opportunities to gain experience in family services.

The role focuses on practical and emotional support, care planning, and collaboration with social work teams while safeguarding children and families. Access NI checks will be required.

We are currently recruiting for a Band 4 Family Support Worker / Social Work Assistant to join a busy Family & Childcare team based at Rossdowney House, Eastbank. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and compassionate individual who is passionate about supporting children, young people, and families to achieve positive outcomes.

About the Role

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide practical and emotional support to children, young people, and families. You will assist in delivering family support interventions, contribute to care plans, and support social work teams in promoting the welfare and well being of service users.

Key Responsibilities
