Job summary

Hanley Castle High School and partner primary schools seek two Family Support Workers to provide early, practical and relational support to vulnerable children and families, improving attendance, engagement and safety so children can learn. Applicants should have a Level 3 qualification (or above) in a related field, strong safeguarding knowledge, and a driving licence.

35 hours per week, term-time plus 8 PD days.

• Experience working directly with children, young people and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide early, practical and relational support to vulnerable children and families to improve attendance and engagement.
• Help ensure children are safe in school and able to learn.
