(Freelance / Ad Hoc). About the Role:. We are looking for a caring, reliable, and flexible Somali-speaking Family Support Worker to assist families in the Greenwich area on an ad hoc basis. This role is perfect for someone with a few available hours each week who wants to make a real difference in the local Somali community.. . Key Responsibilities:. Provide in-home support to families in the Somali-speaking community.. . Offer practical help with daily routines, child supervision, and general family wellbeing.. . Support parents in managing children’s behaviour and emotional needs.. . Be available at short notice for flexible sessions, including daytime, evenings, or weekends.. . Communicate clearly and warmly with families in Somali.. . . Requirements:. Fluent in Somali (essential); English speaking . . Local to Greenwich or surrounding areas.. . Flexible availability – ideal for someone who can jump in when needed.. . Caring, trustworthy, and good with children and families.. . Previous experience in family support, childcare, or community roles is a plus.. . DBS check preferred (or willing to apply).. . . What We Offer:. Freelance hourly rate: £15.00–£25.00. .
