Job summary

Peterhouse School, Southport, invites applications for a Family Support Co-ordinator. This role supports disadvantaged students and families, working 1:1 with young people and parents to identify needs and remove barriers to learning.

You will collaborate with school teams and external professionals, including Social Workers and CAMHS, and may work evenings or weekends. A driving licence and own vehicle are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in social work and Special Educational Needs.
• Ability to work with autistic children and families.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to students and families to identify needs and barriers to learning.
• Collaborate with school staff, Flexible Education team, and external professionals.
• Engage with Social Workers, CAMHS, and other stakeholders to coordinate support.
