Job summary

The Forward Trust is seeking a Family Connection Worker in Crewe to support families and Concerned Significant Others affected by substance misuse. You will help provide information, advice and structured family interventions within prison and community settings, aligning with treatment and recovery journeys.

You will collaborate with clients, colleagues and partner organisations to deliver meaningful family support, monitor outcomes and contribute to ongoing service improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting families affected by substance misuse.
• Experience working with prison or community services.
• Ability to engage diverse client groups with sensitivity.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide information, advice and support to families and CSOs at the right time.
• Collaborate with clients, colleagues and partner organisations to develop meaningful family interventions.
• Contribute to ongoing development, improvements and monitoring of family work across the organisation.
• Assist with data collection, recording and reporting for audit and programme evaluation.
