St Joseph Catholic Multi Academy Trust is seeking a dedicated Family Support Worker to support pupils and their families across academies. You will collaborate with staff and external services to identify barriers to attendance and wellbeing, putting the child at the center of your work.

You will work with schools to improve attendance, support reintegration after disruptions, and promote inclusive practice.

Competenze

• Experience working with children and vulnerable families.
• Ability to build trusting relationships with families while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Strong communication and record-keeping to support attendance and safeguarding.

Mansioni

• Support schools and families to improve attendance, especially where persistent absence exists.
• Coordinate attendance-focused work with school leaders and partners to identify barriers and review progress.
• Develop, implement and review attendance action plans and reintegration following disruptions.
• Promote inclusive education and life chances by engaging children and families with educational provision.
• Contribute to strategies that reduce suspension, exclusion and disengagement from education.
• Support SEND/INE with appropriate services and advocates for reasonable adjustments.
