Full service firm with flexible working, strong support system and multiple social events throughout the year are looking to hire a family solicitor in West Sussex

The firm

A well-established, multi-office firm in West Sussex, currently investing in growth with a new office project in the area. The firm is known for its supportive, non-toxic culture where fee earners are trusted to run their own work without being micromanaged, and it backs its people with good technology.

The team

You will join a close-knit private family team of around 5, led by a partner with over 35 years’ experience in family law. The team is committed to non-confrontational practice and is involved with Resolution.

The role

This is a private family role with no legal aid.The team advises on the full range of private family matters, from divorce and civil partnership dissolution through to financial settlements, including high net worth cases with business, pension and overseas assets.

You will also handle child arrangements, child maintenance and grandparents’ rights, as well as prenuptial, cohabitation and separation agreements, with a focus on resolving matters through negotiation and mediation before turning to court.

You will start with a manageable caseload and build it over time, so this role suits a solicitor who wants to grow a practice. There is real long‑term progression and investment here.
