Job summary

Oculus Legal Group in Plymouth is seeking a Family Lawyer to develop your career within a highly regarded Devon firm.

You’ll join an established Family Team with experienced Partners, where you’ll manage your own caseload across private family matters, advise on divorce, financial remedy, children and cohabitation issues, and handle agreements, injunctions and urgent applications.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive or equivalent with NQ–3 PQE.
• Experience in private family law.
• Strong communication, drafting and organisational skills.
• Confident managing your own files and client relationships.
• Empathetic, proactive and committed to developing your career.

Responsibilities

• Managing your own caseload across a broad range of private family matters.
• Advising on divorce, financial remedy, children and cohabitation matters.
• Handling agreements, injunctions and urgent family applications.
• Drafting legal documentation and attending meetings, mediations and hearings.
• Building strong client relationships and providing excellent client care.
• Supporting networking, marketing and business development.
