Job summary

Oculus Legal Group in Exeter is seeking a Family Solicitor with experience in privately funded family law to join a highly regarded regional practice. The role offers a hybrid working pattern from the Exeter office and exposure to a varied caseload.

You will handle divorce, financial remedy, TOLATA, and Schedule 1 Children Act disputes, while delivering exceptional client care within a collaborative team. Ongoing training and career development are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience in privately funded Family Law is required.
• Strong communication and client care skills are essential.
• Experience in private family matters and sensitivity with clients is preferred.

• Manage a broad range of privately funded family matters.
• Advise clients on divorce, financial remedy, and Schedule 1 Children Act disputes.
• Handle child arrangements matters and urgent injunction applications.

You'll be joining a well-established and forward-thinking firm that places genuine emphasis on training, development and colleague wellbeing. Working from the firm's Exeter office on a hybrid basis, you'll gain exposure to a varied caseload while building your expertise in Private Family Law within a collaborative environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing a broad range of privately funded family matters
• Advising clients on divorce and separation, financial remedy proceedings, TOLATA and Schedule 1 Children Act disputes
• Handling child arrangements matters and urgent injunction applications
• Building strong relationships with clients while delivering exceptional levels of client care
• Working collaboratively with colleagues whilst developing your own caseload and expertise
