Job description

South Shore Early Education, a South Shore Community Action Council program, is a private non-profit providing multi-level program support for low-income children and families on the South Shore, Wareham, Cape Cod, and the Islands.

South Shore Early Education seeks a full-time Family Services Manager candidate in Plymouth.

POSITION: 37.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year
Core Responsibilities:

Develop and implement parent involvement programs for all families in the program, facilitate monthly parent meetings and activities, parent policy council oversight and coordination. Publish monthly and annual documents and reporting for the program. Attend all required trainings.Report to the Director of Early Education and Care. Travel amongst the childcare locations is required and will be reimbursed according to the council’s reimbursement policy, with prior approval.

Core Qualifications:

LSW preferred. A BA/BS in social work or a related field is required. Director II early childhood certification (and experience) preferred. Must have a background in supervision of at least 10 team members, with a proven minimum of 3 years of providing or supporting staff coordination of ongoing social and case management services related to the needs of the child, parent, and whole family. Supporting staff in the development of individual family goals, including home visits as necessary. Ability to build and sustain relationships with community partners. Ability to support staff with service coordination across multiple partners to support family goals. Attend required community meetings.
Bilingual (Portuguese, Arabic, or Spanish) preferred, although not required. All candidates must have a current medical certificate, current MMR documentation, current TB test, statements of CORI/DCF Background check and fingerprinting, and an employment application before beginning employment.

**Minimum Requirements for Employment:**
· Must be at least 18 years of age to apply
· Must be able to speak and understand English
· Valid MA state driver’s license
· References will be required upon hire
· Date of posting-6/6/25, deadline to apply 6/11/25, or until a suitable candidate is found.
