Our clinic, located in the Newton neighborhood of Surrey, is looking for a full or part-time family doctor to join us. The clinic currently has seven family doctors; alongside an Internal Medicine specialist, Geriatrician, General Surgeon (who runs a vein clinic), Psychiatrist, Rheumatologist, and Orthopedic Surgeon, all of whom are onsite working in the office. We are also in the process of bringing in a Pediatrician. We also run a Liver Clinic with a Gastroenterologist from Vancouver once per month. Additionally, we have Optometry, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy, and Clinical counseling services on site.
The exam rooms are spacious, with some rooms featuring windows for doctors to do their charts. We use Oscar EMR and are fully set up for telephone medicine. The clinic has over 25 exam rooms and eight MOAs. This environment is ideal for new residents, as there are multiple family doctors and specialists on site to assist with patient care. Our physicians and staff are experienced in mentoring physicians new to BC.
The practice is very busy, with no shortage of patients. The new physician can choose to see as many or as few patients as they prefer. We welcome you to meet with us and tour the clinic.
The compensation split will be 90% for the first 3 months, then ranging from 77% to 83% depending on patient volume. Punjabi speaking candidates would be an asset.
