Job summary

Hillcroft Primary School in Caterham, Surrey, is looking for a Family Link Worker to join the Inclusion Team. The role supports children and families, improves wellbeing and attendance, and coordinates with external services to unlock the right support.

You will act as Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead, conduct home visits, run parenting programmes and multi-agency safeguarding, ensuring every child can fully engage in school life.

Qualifications

  • Has experience supporting children and families facing attendance, wellbeing, safeguarding or learning challenges.
  • Experience as Deputy DSL or ability to undertake the role successfully.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and contribute to safeguarding processes, early intervention and family support.
  • Undertake home visits and facilitate parenting programmes.
  • Coordinate multi-agency support to ensure access to right services.
