Job summary

Herefordshire Council is seeking a Family Hubs Coordinator to lead the countywide Family Hubs programme across Herefordshire, collaborating with early years providers, schools, health services and communities. This role drives partnership working and service improvement to support families and children.

You will oversee the development of 5–7 Best Start Family Hubs, manage a dedicated team, and ensure families access the right support at the right time.

• Experience working with children, young people and families.
• Strong partnership and project management skills.
• Vision, creativity and leadership to bring partners together and drive service improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of the Family Hubs programme across Herefordshire.
• Oversee the creation of a minimum of 5–7 Best Start Family Hubs.
• Manage a dedicated team and build strong partnerships with providers and services.
• Ensure families access the right support at the right time to improve outcomes.
• Drive improvements in child development, school readiness and family wellbeing.
