Job summary

Luton Council is seeking a Best Start Family Hub Navigator to help families access and understand a wide range of services across Luton’s Family Hubs. You will be a trusted point of contact, providing information, advice, guidance and short-term support from pregnancy through to early years and beyond.

The role requires experience with families, strong communication and safeguarding knowledge, with the ability to travel as needed within the borough and beyond.

Qualifications

• Experience with families, children or young people.
• Knowledge of safeguarding and equality principles is essential.
• Able to obtain Enhanced DBS check.
• Willing to undertake occasional travel across the borough, regionally and nationally.

Responsibilities

• Provide information, advice, guidance and short-term support to families.
• Act as a trusted point of contact to help families access services from pregnancy through to early years and beyond.
• Support families to overcome barriers and connect with relevant services.
