Hampshire County Council is seeking a Best Start Hub Connector to help children and families access the right support at the right time across Best Start Family Hubs and community settings.

You will build trusted relationships, identify needs and connect families with services that improve wellbeing, resilience and outcomes for children, working in a collaborative, child-centered service across Hampshire.

Qualifications

• Level 2 qualification (or above) in Early Years, Education, Health, Child Development or a related field.
• Experience working with children and young people aged 0-19, particularly 0-5, and collaborating with professionals across services.
• Good knowledge of child development, early intervention, safeguarding and local support services.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to confidently engage a wide range of families and stakeholders.
• Good organisational and digital skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accurate records.

Responsabilités

• Support the delivery of the Best Start Family Hub offer, including activities, programmes and community-based support.
• Help families engage with services and access support that meets their needs.
• Work collaboratively with families, colleagues and partner organisations to coordinate effective joined-up support.
• Apply reflective, trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches in all aspects of your work.
• Maintain accurate records, upholding safeguarding, confidentiality and data protection requirements.
