Hampshire County Council is seeking a Best Start Hub Connector in Hampshire to help families access the right support at the right time. You will work across Best Start Family Hubs and community settings, building trusted relationships and identifying needs to connect families with the right services that support wellbeing and positive outcomes for children.

• Level 2 qualification (or above) in Early Years, Education, Health, Child Development or a related field.
• Experience working with children and young people aged 0–19, particularly those aged 0–5, and collaborating with professionals across services.
• Good knowledge of child development, early intervention, safeguarding and local support services.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to confidently engage a wide range of families and stakeholders.
• Good organisational and digital skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain accurate records.
• Make a meaningful difference to children and families by helping them access support as early as possible.
• Be part of a collaborative, community-focused service that values early intervention, partnership working and achieving positive outcomes for families.

Responsabilidades

• Support the delivery of the Best Start Family Hub offer, including activities, programmes and community-based support.
• Help families engage with services and access support that meets their needs.
• Work collaboratively with families, colleagues and partner organisations to coordinate effective joined-up support.
• Apply reflective, trauma-informed and strengths-based approaches in all aspects of your work.
• Maintain accurate records, upholding safeguarding, confidentiality and data protection requirements.
