Cardiff Council is seeking two Grade 7 Family Help Team Leaders to provide early intervention and support to families. The role involves managing a team of Family Help Advisors, ensuring effective service delivery, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance family wellbeing. Ideal candidates should have experience in staff management and a passion for improving children's lives.
Cardiff Family Advice and Support is an innovative and progressive service within the directorate of Children’s Services in Cardiff Council. Accredited with a Families First Quality Award, the service provides high quality information, advice and assistance for children, young people, families and professionals across the city.
The service utilises a family centred, strengths based and inclusive approach, to identify the most appropriate support that will meet the wellbeing needs of both individuals and the family as a whole. The teams within the service work collaboratively with a range of professionals and partners to ensure support is at the right level and at the right time.
We are seeking to appoint 2 Grade 7 Family Help Team Leaders who will lead, develop and support a team of Family Help Advisors to deliver bespoke early intervention and prevention support to families referred to the team. The postholder will liaise and communicate with a range of service users, including families and professionals, and will also work alongside the Service Manager to support the continued development and quality of service delivery.
