City of York Council is seeking Social Workers/Family Help Lead Practitioners (Case Holding - CIN & CP) in York to join the Family Help Service. You'll assess children in need, deliver interventions, co-produce plans with families and agencies, and support cases through court processes where needed.

Applicants should be experienced in safeguarding, risk assessment and multi‑agency work. The role offers flexible working options, strong supervision and career progression in an Outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Experience in safeguarding and risk assessment.
• Ability to lead practice and multi-agency working.
• Experience in Family Help Assessments and working with courts.

Responsabilités

• Undertake Family Help Assessments and deliver intervention.
• Co-produce plans with families, their networks and professionals.
• Lead work with children in CIN & CP cases and promote safety planning to keep children at home where possible.
