Family Group Conference Coordinator

Grade 5: £34,416 - £37,536 pro rata

Term: Permanent, part-time (21.6 hrs over 3 days per week)

About The Job

In this role, you will play a key part in delivering an effective Family Group Conference service aimed at improving outcomes for children, young people, and their families. Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Holding a caseload of families, conducting Family Group Conferences and reviews.
  2. Working directly with children and young people to capture their voices and encourage participation.
  3. Gathering feedback from families to inform and develop the service.
  4. Traveling across the borough and outside as needed to engage family networks.
Candidate Profile

You will be suitable for this role if you:

  1. Have at least 3 years’ experience working with children, young people, and families.
  2. Possess a professional qualification in health, education, social care, or a related field.
  3. Are passionate about empowering families and ensuring children and young people's voices are heard.
  4. Can develop relationships with staff from other teams, departments, and external agencies.
  5. Are willing to undertake some evening and weekend work as needed.
