Job summary

Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council seeks an experienced NPT Family Lead to provide operational leadership for a team delivering information, outreach and engagement for children, young people and families across Neath Port Talbot.

You will develop and promote high-quality early intervention information and ensure accessible information across digital platforms, community events and direct engagement with families and local services.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in marketing, communications, public relations or related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Experience supervising or managing others and staff development.
• Experience managing digital platforms, social media, content creation and outreach activity.
• Proven experience developing and implementing communication and engagement strategies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the NPT Family Team.
• Develop and implement communications, marketing and community engagement plans to maximise reach and awareness.
• Oversee social media, digital content, websites, newsletters, events and other promotional activity.
• Monitor engagement, feedback and performance information to improve information provision.
• Collaborate with other early intervention services to coordinate information and support.
