Job summary

Leicestershire County Council's Targeted Family Help team is seeking motivated Keyworkers to support children, young people and families with complex needs across the county. The role requires building positive relationships, managing challenging conversations, and delivering evidence-based interventions in home settings.

A valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are preferred; however adjustments will be considered for applicants with a disability.

Qualifications

• Experience in providing direct support in the home to children and families with complex needs.
• Knowledge of evidence-based interventions such as solution focused brief therapy, parenting programmes, or CBT-based approaches.
• Ability to communicate effectively with children and adults, and to manage challenging conversations.
