Job summary

Platform Housing Group invites applications for Falls Responder, a fixed-term, part-time on-call role based in Worcestershire. You will join a team contracted by the NHS to respond to fall events, working from home while supporting residents across Worcestershire.

A driving licence and enhanced DBS are essential; on-call shifts total 14 over three weeks, with 20 contractual hours per week. The role includes on-call payments plus a fixed hourly rate, with additional car allowance as applicable.

Qualifications

• Must be confident communicator with empathy.
• Ability to assess risks and mitigate problems.
• Experience in care/helping roles preferred.
• Full driving license and car access required.
• Enhanced DBS check required before start.

Responsibilities

• Respond to Falls alerts via on-call rota.
• Attend incidents and guide calls through to resolution.
• Assist residents using lifting and aftercare when needed.
• Work from home, covering 12-hour shifts on a planned rota.
